To join Your Say Derwent Valley, complete the registration form here.
The form will ask you questions about your preferences for project notifications and general demographic information (that is usually requested in surveys to ensure Council is hearing from a diverse cross-section of the community).
We highly recommend you fill in as much information as possible to create a clear picture of who is having their say in the Derwent Valley Council area and to make it quicker and easier for you when responding to future surveys (the demographic data will be auto-filled for you, without the need to enter it in each survey).
Your username should be simple and memorable. However, we recommend avoiding the usage of any personally identifiable information when creating your username. This includes your first or last name or your birth date. Use a variation of your name that is easy for you to remember but difficult for others to recognise as associated with you.
Your username is the only piece of personal information that will be public for collaborative activities. For example, if you post an idea on a vision board or drop a pin on an interactive map, your username will show at the top of your post.
To update your password, simply login to Your Say Derwent Valley.
Navigate to “My Profile” and click on “Edit Profile”.
Once you are on your profile, scroll to the bottom of the page and follow the ‘Change password’ instructions.
We highly recommend you use a range of numbers and letters and not to use a name or date of birth.
The next time you login, you will need to use your new password.
If you have forgotten your password, click ‘Join/Login’.
When you try and login there will be an option to click ‘Forgot your password'?
Click ‘Forgot your password?’ and follow the prompts to provide your email.
Make sure you check your junk inbox and wait up to 1-hour before trying again.
Once you receive the email to reset your password, follow the instructions.
The supply of personal information by you is voluntary. The registration form will ask you to include personal details.
The only required details for membership are:
